So I've added a new plugin to the server that allows me to create custom recipes. I did this because our economy is based on iron, gold, and diamonds, and these are the items that people can buy and sell stuff with. The new recipes are loosely based on the Equivalent Exchange mod, but nowhere near as complex or advanced. I will be considering requests for new recipes, so long as they do not allow for infinite loops of generating materials, nor make some materials too easy to gather.

Redstone dust has almost magical properties about it. Any recipes that require redstone dust are called alchemical recipes. Because almost all alchemical recipes are reversible, they are not listed as needing redstone dust, despite requiring it.

If a category is listed as "reversible," then the recipes can performed in both direction.

Current List of Custom Non-Alchemical Recipes:

1b. Non-PvP worlds are strictly cooperative. Killing and raiding here will get you banned.

Things You Can Buy:

Elossia Brand Custom Stationary World Transit Device a.k.a. "Portal"
-- Create custom portal-to-portal connections, or simple portal-to-world connections.

I'm always looking for new people to join the restricted worlds.
The two things you must have are:
1. Cooperation - The restricted worlds are not PvP, and require cooperation with fellow players to be successful in. If you're a jerk to other people, forget it.
2. Must have build something as a guest - This gives credence to both your skill as a builder, and your loyalty to the server.

Ammendment to best weapons in Skyrim

So my last blog post was a tutorial for creating the ultimate weapons and gear in Skyrim. Unfortunately it dappled in an exploit that I later showed off in a Youtube video. Considering the Potions of Fortify Restoration can create weapons so sharp that splitting the atom becomes child's play, I recommend you skip over the parts that involve the potion.

In fact, after creating the tutorial and discovering the true potential of a potion of fortify restoration, I've sworn off all exploits, because honestly, when you are immune to everything, there's no challenge left.

Ultimate Weapons and Armor in Skyrim.

Please note: This method does make partial use of the Fortify Restoration Potion exploit, which I demonstrate to full potential here. I have not yet edited out this exploit from this guide.

I'm sure many of you have seen some of the crazy powerful weapons in Skyrim floating around.
If you've not, well here's a screenshot. No, that's not 108 damage. It only shows three digits, so it's actually 108X. Look at the damage rating down by carry weight and health. It says 1093. I must have forgotten to unequip some arrows when I took the screenshot.
I know you want it. You know that with sneak perks, you can one-shot an ancient dragon.

Well I'm here to show you how.

Skill Requirements
These are minimum required perks. You may want more perks than this.

100 Smithing + Daedric Smithing
100 Enchanting + Enchanter 5, Insightful Enchanter, Extra Effect
100 Alchemy + Achemist 5, Benefactor
100 Weapon Type of Choice + Relevant Damage Boosting Perks

Item Requirements
These are minimum requirements, please do bring extras.

Crafting Armor Set:

Falmer Helmet x2
Any Circlet x 2
Any Necklace x3
Any Chest Armor x 1
Any Arm Armor x 2
Any Ring x 3
As many Grand Souls as you can.

Daedric Armor Set:

Leather Strips x 9
Ebony Ingot x 17 (this number may be inaccurate, do gather extras to be safe)
Daedra Heart x 4

Other:

Leather Strips, Ebony Ingots, and Daedra Heart for your weapon(s) of choice. Weapon Costs Here
Ingredients for Fortify Enchantment Potions (Blue Butterfly Wing, Hagraven Claw, Snowberries, Spriggan Sap)
Ingredients for Fortify Smithing Potions (Blisterwort, Glowing Mushroom, Sabre Cat Tooth, Spriggan Sap)
Ingredients for Fortify Restoration Potions (Abecian Longfin, Cyrodilic Spadetail, Salt Pile, Small Antlers, Small Pearl)
(Optional Final Step for Archers) Falmer Helmet
(Optional Final Step for Archers) Any Circlet
(Optional Mid-Combat Step) Ingredients for Fortify <Marksman|One-Handed|Two-Handed> (Figure out the ingredients yourself)

Step One:
Make the following enchantments. It may help to name then something unique, such as "25% Craft Circlet."

All enchantments require a Grand Soul.
Falmer Helmet: +25% Alchemy
Circlet: +25% Alchemy
Necklace: +25% Alchemy
Arm Armor: +25% Alchemy
Ring: +25% Alchemy

For future reference, these items will be known as "25% Craft Armor."

Step Two:
While wearing your 25% Craft Armor, you will have a total Fortify Alchemy of +125%. That is quite a boost for such cheap items. Too bad you'll be throwing them away soon.

Now put on your 25% Craft Armor, and create at least 5 Potion of Fortify Enchanting.
I do not remember the exact boost these will give you, but it does not really matter, as these are the only potions of this strength you will be making.

Step Three:
You can go ahead and get rid of your 25% Craft Armor set (sell, drop, etc.). Because now that you have Enchanting Potions, you can max out your crafting armor.

After drinking one of the Enchanting Potions, crafting the following armor. Be quick, those potions only last 30 seconds!

Falmer Helmet: +29% Alchemy
Circlet: +29% Alchemy
Necklace: +29% Alchemy, +29% Smithing
Chest Armor: +29% Smithing
Arm Armor: +29% Alchemy, +29% Smithing
Ring: +29% Alchemy, +29% Smithing

For future reference, these items will be known as "29% Craft Armor."

Now you may be wondering, "Why can't I just go make even better potions with this new set and enchant even better armor? Like a 34% Craft Armor set?" Well that's because +29% is the cap you can enchant onto one piece of armor for Alchemy and Smithing. Getting higher Alchemy/Smithing enchantments is simply impossible without cheating. Other enchantments have higher caps though.

You might as well throw away your extra Enchanting Potions, because now that you have a 29% Craft Armor set, you can make even better potions.

Step Four:
While wearing your 29% Craft Armor set, go make some Enchanting Potions, Smithing Potions, and Fortify Restoration Potions. How many? As many as you can! These are the highest boosting potions you can make, so you can't have too many.
Assuming you've done everything correctly so far, you should be making +37% Enchanting Potions, +147% Smithing Potions, and +147% Fortify Restoration Potions.

Step Five:
+147% Smithing? That's a lot, I know. Between your 29% Craft Armor and one of these Smithing Potions, you'll be smithing at level 263! Here's the real kicker too, if you use a Fortify Restoration Potion, and then equip your 29% Craft Armor set, the armor's enchantments get that potion's +147% boost, meaning those four +29% enchantments get turned into four +71% enchantments.

Now you have to go to a blacksmith forge and craft yourself full Daedric Armor (if you use a shield, make that too), and your Daedric weapon(s) of choice. Smithing Potions and Enchantments don't seem to affect the base armor/damage, so just save them for now.

Now head over to the workbench. Use that Fortify Restoration Potion, put on your 29% Craft Armor (now 71%) set, drink a Smithing Potion, and improve your Daedric armor. Once again, these potions only last 30 seconds, so be quick.
Now do the same thing at a grind stone for your weapon(s).

Step Six:
Now you may already be ogling your armor and weapon, because yes, they are already ridiculous. But we're not done. We're going to make them EVEN MORE ridiculous.

Now this is the tricky part, and the step where the playstyles go in different directions. Our goal here is to enchant your armor with weapon fortifications for your weapon type, but not all weapon fortifications can go on all of the weapons.
I recommended you write out what enchantments you want on each piece of armor before you ever start enchanting. If you mess something up here, it can't be fixed, and you'll have to start over.

For Archers, you can place Marksman enchantments on your helmets, necklace, gauntlets, and ring.
For One-Handed and Two-Handed warriors, you can place enchantments, on your necklace, gauntlets, ring, and boots.

Since you should be putting two enchantments on each piece of armor, you will need to figure out what enchantments best suit your playstyle. I will list my recommended enchantments, should you want something different, here's a list that shows what enchantments can go on what slots.

Drink an Enchantment Potion, and make the following enchantments. Make sure you name each piece something unique, and as always, be fast. Your potions only last 30 seconds.

For Archers:

Helmet: Fortify Archery + Waterbreathing
Necklace: Fortify Archery + Fortify Sneak
Armor: Fortify Stamina Regeneration + Fortify Heavy Armor
Gauntlets: Fortify Archery + Fortify Sneak
Ring: Fortify Archery + Fortify Sneak
Boots: Fortify Stamina Regeneration + Fortify Sneak

For One-Handed Warriors with a Shield:

Helmet: Fortify Lockpicking + Waterbreathing (seriously, nothing useful can be put on helmets)
Necklace: Fortify One-Handed + Resist Magic
Armor: Fortify Stamina Regeneration + Fortify Heavy Armor
Gauntlets: Fortify One-Handed + Fortify Heavy Armor
Ring: Fortify One-Handed + Resist Magic
Boots: Fortify One-Handed + Fortify Stamina Regeneration
Shield: Resist Magic + Fortify Block

For One-Handed Warriors without a Shield and Two-Handed Warriors:

Helmet: Fortify Lockpicking + Waterbreathing (again, nothing useful)
Necklace: Fortify One/Two-Handed + Resist Magic
Armor: Fortify Stamina Regeneration + Fortify Heavy Armor
Gauntlets: Fortify One/Two-Handed + Fortify Heavy Armor
Ring: Fortify One/Two-Handed + Resist Magic
Boots: Fortify One/Two-Handed + Fortify Stamina Regeneration

Optional Final Step For Archers:
If you are not using a bow, skip this step.
For you archers out there, you have two options. Your Daedric Helmet sure does have a high armor rating. But you can sacrifice that armor rating for even more weapon boosting enchantments, specifically, an additional 48% marksman/sneak. This can be done by replacing your helmet with a circlet and Falmer helmet with proper enchantments.
Personally, I prefer to keep the Daedric Helmet, as a matching set of armor gets you a 25% boost in Heavy Armor if you have the perks for it.

Optional Mid-Combat Step:
Go make yourself some Fortify <Marksman|One-Handed|Two-Handed> 147% Potions.
Remember those Fortify Restoration Potions? Yeah, they work on your Fortify <Marksman|One-Handed|Two-Handed> Enchantments.
So now, you just unequip your armor, use the Fortify Restoration Potion and Fortify Weapon Potion, and re-equip your armor.

You remember that bow up there that does 108X damage? Here's what it looks like now. 546X damage. Yeah, I'm speechless, too.

There You Go:
You now have an amazing armor set enchanted to boost your already amazing weapon even higher. Now all you have to do is enchant your weapon with whatever enchantment you wish, there's no best here. Also adding ridiculous poisons made with your 29% Craft Armor set will push your damage even higher.

Doctor Who - A Remix

That's right, children, it's Moday. And that means another remix.
This week I decided to remix the Doctor Who theme. And not only did I remix the Doctor Who theme, but I actually remixed it TWICE. Yes ladies and celery, that's right. What you're hearing is two remixes in one. The first half of the song, is based on the 2010 theme. You know, the one with the teenage Doctor. The second half is based on the 2005 theme, the one with the best Doctor.
Also my birthday is Friday, and I'll be turning 19. I would be celebrating will friends and serving pizza all around, if I had money and friends to waste it on.
I would go to ChuckECheese's and blow all my money on games, but I need to buy a new graphics card before Skyrim comes out on November 11th.

Fancy Desktop You You have There

Well after looking at a dreary normal desktop for ages, I decided to finally spruce things up a bit, WITH PONIES.

Everything is now pony-themed. Wallpaper, icons, even the names there, all ponies.
Oh, and season two of My Little Pony started up a couple days ago. I rather liked Discord, but that's probably because I kept hearing Q, rather than a new character.

Feel the Power - A Remix

Well I'm a day late, but here's my fourth remix. It's my favorite of my remixes. After this, I might be a bit slower to make remixes, but hopefully I can still come up with a new one every Monday for at least a while longer.
In other news, a friend of mine claims she can make a Halloween costume out of anything. I told her my wardrobe is rather bleak, and took it as a challenge.
Hopefully I can get a good costume out of it.

Popcorn - A Remix

Well it's Monday, and that means I upload another remix. My clock says it's 12:08 AM, making this Tuesday, but I uploaded the video before midnight! I'm still on time!

In unrelated news, I am quitting Minecraft. Now you may ask, "Riko! Why quit such a good game that you love so much? Did Notch ruin your world again?" And to that, I say no. Simply put, the reason is because Minecraft's official release is around the corner. With everything that is getting added on a regular basis, if I stop playing now and ignore the game completely until release, then I can start playing again in a massive new world that I know hardly anything about. It's like getting that "new game excitement" twice from the same game!

Kernkraft 400 - A Remix

I forgot to make a blog post for my second remix last Monday, and considering it isn't really all that great, oh well. This one is Kernkraft 400. It's not as good as my other remixes, but I want to publish them in order of creation, so here ya go. Tomorrow I'll have a better remix out.

So it's been a while since I posed anything. I've been on a serious gaming low recently, and for a month or two, I've been plainly sick of Minecraft.
So between working on a Halloween costume, reading random articles on Cracked, and lighting things on fire, I decided to wrap up on a remix I started a while back.
For a long time, I've been a pretty big fan of Basshunter, and while Halla Dar isn't one of my favorites, it was certainly one of the easiest to remix.

Maerond SMP Down and Terraria

Well my Minecraft server is down, and it probably will stay like that for a while until I can either work out another deal or get donations large enough to pay for a server.
In the mean time, I've recently discovered a little $10 game named Terraria. It's like a weird mish-mash of a 2D Minecraft, classic Legend of Zelda, and HP Lovecraft. I'm still just getting into it, but already, I have a magical boomerang killing zombies, been mining ores, building houses, explored The Corruption, and getting slain by the Eater of Worlds.

Apparently, unlike Minecraft, the worlds are not infinite. However, I have yet to reach the edge, but not for lack of trying. My boomerang may be strong, but I still can't get past The Corruption, yet.
Also I have some pretty awesome goggles.

Problems with hosting the server have taken it offline for now. We are hoping to raise some money to help pay for a new server (hint: donate). In the meantime, people can plan out their next creations, and I can make a blog post showing off all the new stuff that has been built. I won't show everything, like Fellcorbie's Chateau and tower, as that would potentially take away from future posts.
Anyways, the first project to show off today is the remodeling of Spawnside. Rather than plenty of trees in all four corners, it has been replaces with 4 mini-biomes. On the east half, there's a forest, and a lava pit. To the west is a desert and a pond. We may replace the pond with snow and an ice statue.
The next project to show is the unnamed tower, built by one of my oldest friends, Brashin. The design is rather odd. It's not a circle, but rather an octagon with no smooth sides. I have no idea what it's supposed to look like, but it still cool. He says he plans to bring it up to about cloud level before expanding the base of the tower outward. Behind the tower is a floating tree farm and his mines.

Several days ago, a meteor fell from the sky. It's origin is unknown, and it appears to have no purpose other than to look odd. Oddly, there appears to moss growing on it, despite the red-hot inside. Maybe an alien plant has found it's way into our kingdom.
The final project is the public cactus farm. It puts out about 25 cacti per minute. That may not seem like a lot, but it's pretty good for such a small farm.
We have many other projects going, and buildings made. But I will cover them at another time.

In Elossia, I like to keep everything close together, for a simple reason. One cool structure is awesome, but two cool structures is epic. Throw in more, and it just keeps getting better. Spreading out just isn't something I like to do. The problem with not spreading out though, is that very quickly, resources run out.

My solution to this, was to cheat. No, I'm not going to build a diamond castle with golden towers (hmm, maybe I should..). What my ops and I would do, is when we build structures focused on infrastructure (roads, parks, or public buildings), we build it out of full stacks of materials. When we are done, we put all of the remains into a public library.
This library would be a public building for sharing and trading of resources. Ops would not be the only ones putting materials in. In fact, I hope the normal players mange to make up at least 50-70% of the incoming materials. Ops would only be there to make up for ever decreasing natural resources, and to maintain the stock.
The interior is littered with chests, and everything is sorted into them. Each item or group of items has it's own chest. There are twelve chests in the center, six under the windows, and four under the stairs. This allows for a total of 18 chests per floor, plus the four extra under the stairs on the first floor. Oh yes, we will be adding more floors as we need them.
Now you may be wondering, "Riko, wouldn't people just take supplies whenever they want, and not put any in themselves?"
My answer would be yes. Some people would. Those people are called douchebags. I plan on making this library into a two way street of sharing. Players who take and take and never give, will probably be removed from the server.

The beginning.

All things have a beginning, and this is another one. Welcome to The Kingdom of Elossia, a blog detailing my escapades in Minecraft. Occasionally I might do something on another game, or life. It depends on what I am doing at the moment.

The Kingdom of Elossia is named after my most recent project in Minecraft, a wall large enough to surround an entire kingdom. The wall itself is named The Wall of Kelech-mor. The land it will eventually surround is named Elossia. The kingdom's current residents include myself (DarthRiko), my good friend Nathan (Draxxon), and Nathan's friend whom I have forgotten the name of at the moment.

Well I believe this is a suitable intro to my new blog. Eventually, I would like to briefly list my previous notable creations, talk about my favorite mods, and maybe comment on various Minecraft merchandise.
